Wonder why they said “be strong like Vietnamese coffee”? The answer for the almighty Vietnamese Iced coffee is below, check it out!

Arabica beans, a coffee that always on the list of PREMIUM COFFEE, were brought into Vietnam 155 years ago by the French colonists, first experimental cultivate at the highland of Vietnam in 1858, now the area of Arabica growing specialization are wide spread all over Tay Nguyen city with over 27 500 ha. Buon Ma Thuot – Dak Lak province, Bao Loc – Lam Dong province … soon famous for being the metropolis of the best Vietnamese Arabica beans. Arabica beans, however, is a favorite fruit of the Weasel, which will soon become WEASEL COFFEE after the digestive process of this animal.

Arabica beans once brewed will give out a cup of coffee with light brown in color, mild bitter taste; its gently seductive aroma along with slightly sour taste creates a fascinating and appropriate premium coffee for lady. Unfortunately, the area of Arabica cultivation in Vietnam takes only 5% over the total area of coffee crops, therefore no doubt the price of Arabica beans is always twice as much as Robusta beans, because:

  • The height above sea level of Vietnam highland is just range from 600 – 1000m, not suitable for Arabica to reach its best productivity.
  • Arabica coffee tree attracts pestilent insects more than any others of its sibling, create a lot of difficulties for farmers.
  • Complicated processing.

The main breeds of Arabica that are being planted in Vietnam are Typica, Cartuai and Caturra, with the innovated in bio technology developed by Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry, Vietnamese Arabica beans has never been better.
